Silver carapace

DIARY

A revisited bestiary

These fragments of bleached shells and marine remains were collected on the beaches of Cotentin, France.

Through wax leaf impressions and lost wax casting, these shells are partially covered with pure, smooth silver.

Voluminous necklaces and rings capture crab claws and eroded shells, giving them shine with a new metallic luster while preserving their monochrome and stripped aesthetic, for a sublimation of the memory of the living.
